Before and After

—

In an earlier post I said I would clean my desk on Monday in order to be able to make some art. I did it! Here are the before and after pictures; it’s still pretty crowded, but in the second photo there is room for paintbrushes on the top and a small canvas on the desk. To the left of the canvas is a basket of acrylic paints. Tomorrow I will do a drawing, or maybe a collage, we shall see where my process takes me.

I have been very happy today and yesterday, and I am posting a lot, which may be a side effect of pressured speech. My husband asked if I am just happy, so I know that means he is keeping his radar up to see if it is the beginning of a mania. I am watching as well. I have not been very hungry today and did need less sleep, and my brain and body are buzzing a bit, with thoughts and grinding jaw, and actual buzzing in my ears. We will keep a careful watch. I have not been interested in the drink at all today, so that is super good news. If you are reading about my crazy journey, thank you kindly, it has been a good outlet for me to write.

  1. It feels so good to have an area cleaned up! I have trouble figuring out how to set up the craft room so items can be found but not too messy.

    1. It does feel good! Yes, I will have trouble keeping up once I get started working. Creativity is just messy sometimes.

      1. Oh, no, mess during creation is expected – just have to figure out how to keep it contained!

        I meant mess when I’m not working/creating 🄰
