Art Again!

,

I am making art again. This is a work in progress, with the working title of “Trying to Get Comfortable.” I use oil sticks which are very messy, and I love it! Once this dries I will go in with paint and refine it. I am just so happy that I didn’t give up on my art, after years of saying I am done with it. “You may be done with art, but art isn’t done with you!”

I don’t know if you can tell what it is, but it is a person arched across their bed, with a skeleton type face and a distorted (and contorted) body. They are laying their head on two books instead of pillows.

I was so blown away by the supportive comments I got from my last blog post that I was at a loss for words. Please know that I am forever grateful that you take time out of your day to read what I write. Your likes and comments mean the world to me.

      1. You’re welcome. Making the most of what I have even if or when it might seem like not much is what I do or at least try to do. Your reaction is more than I anticipated; I appreciate it a lot. Thank you Alicia!

    1. thank you! I was in the zone as I worked, and time just flew on by! I think I was working for two hours, but it felt like no time at all. I was truly in “the flow.”
